Summary
POP GMailMan Lite is a Chrome extension that refreshes Gmail (mail.google.com) on a user-defined schedule. The extension does not collect, sell, or share personal data.
Data we collect
We do not collect any personal data, sensitive data, or browsing data. We do not transmit any user data to external servers.
Data stored on your device
The extension stores only your settings locally using Chrome storage, such as:
- Whether auto-refresh is enabled
- Your selected refresh interval
This data stays on your device (and may sync via your own Chrome Sync if you have it enabled in Chrome settings).
Permissions explanation
- alarms – Used to schedule auto-refresh at the interval you choose.
- storage – Used to save your settings (enable/disable, interval).
- tabs – Used to locate your open Gmail tab and refresh the correct tab.
- scripting – Used to run a small script on Gmail to trigger the refresh action.
- Host permission: https://mail.google.com/* – The extension runs only on Gmail pages.
Remote code
The extension does not download or execute remote code. All functionality is included in the extension package installed from the Chrome Web Store.
Third-party sharing
We do not sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties.
Limited use disclosure
POP GMailMan Lite complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy. The extension does not collect or transmit personal or sensitive user data, and any permissions are used only to provide the user-facing functionality of refreshing Gmail on a schedule.
Security
